Buttermilk Biscuit Recipe
5 cups All Purpose Flour
7 ½ tsp Baking powder
6 Tbs + 1 ½ tsp Granulated sugar
2 ¼ tsp Salt
¾ pound (3 sticks) Butter (chilled)
2 ½ cups Buttermilk
Preheat oven to 400 degrees fahrenheit. Sift dry ingredients into large mixing bowl with butter. Cut butter into cubes. Fitted with whisk attachment, on stand mixer, whisk cold butter into flour mixture until butter is in pea sized pieces. Remove bowl from mixer and add buttermilk to mixture. Stir in buttermilk with fork until dough forms. Scoop dough into desired size. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown
